This session was presented at BLUEPRINT 4D 2026.
At this session attendees will hear how Cardinal Glass leveraged JDE’s Direct Connect Business Service and Requisition Self-service module to streamline our vendor purchasing process. Learn the challenges with the current process, steps we took to prototype and obstacles we had to overcome. We will also summarize the benefits and savings realized by the Cardinal manufacturing facilities that have implemented these features. This session will discuss the configuration required to utilize Direct Connect functionality, the changes to the Purchasing and Accounts Payable processes as well as specific customizations we made to make this functionality work for Cardinal.
