The configuration utilities application provides a launching point for configuring control/system data and business data. These applications are meant for highly trained consultants or Subject Matter Experts. This is not an ideal everyday use application. Mass data deletes are available and should be cautioned.

This functionality has been around since 8.98, yet many seasoned consultants are not aware or don’t utilize this tool.

The available applications are intended for mass export and import of data to and from spreadsheets. After the initial load of the data, the existing base applications should be used for maintaining data.

Overall utilization should not be given to end users or clients, mainly due to the incredible functionality and ability to remove all records from certain tables. This process should be carefully accessed and utilized.

Using base Excel skillsets, quick analysis can be used for assessment and change management or audit controls.
