This session is based on an experience with a customer that used third-party scanning tools to detect that several key WebLogic patches were not in place. Specifically, the version they currently had installed was no longer supported by Oracle. This lack of support indicates that Oracle is not obligated to release new security patches. As a result, it is likely to contain security vulnerabilities that could be exploited by malicious agents. The process to upgrade to the latest version of WebLogic will be discussed and clear documentation will be provided to help customers with this complex process. We will discuss making sure customers are on the latest version 18.104.22.168. This upgrade process is not well documented and includes information that may lack clarity.
