Cash forecasting is traditionally one of the most manual and error-prone processes in Finance, relying heavily on spreadsheets, subjective judgment, and inconsistent assumptions across departments. With Oracle EPM Cloud’s new Predictive Cash Forecasting capability, organizations can now elevate cash planning from reactive guesswork to an automated, data-driven process powered by embedded machine learning. This session provides a comprehensive walkthrough of how Predictive Cash Forecasting identifies trends, analyzes historical inflows and outflows, detects seasonality, applies statistical models, and produces highly accurate cash projections with confidence intervals and risk indicators. We’ll explore how the tool integrates seamlessly with Fusion Cloud ERP, how to configure prediction drivers and forecast intervals, and how finance teams can compare scenarios, tune models, and manage governance around AI-assisted forecasting. Attendees will learn practical use cases for Treasury, FP&A, and Finance leadership—including optimizing liquidity, improving working capital decisions, and strengthening short-term and long-term cash planning. This session is ideal for EPM administrators, financial analysts, and decision-makers looking to bring modern predictive intelligence into their organization’s planning processes.

JD Edwards (JDE) environments are evolving rapidly, and organizations are looking for smarter, more intuitive ways to optimize operations. This session introduces how Agentic AI, combined with autonomous process automation, is reshaping JDE workflows by enabling intelligent, collaborative systems that work alongside users to enhance efficiency and decision-making. Leveraging generative AI, natural language interactions, and task-oriented agents, JDE processes can be transformed from static, traditional ERP activities into dynamic, AI-driven operational flows. The session showcases how advanced AI agents can interpret functional and technical queries, automate repetitive tasks, coordinate multi-step processes across JDE modules, and integrate seamlessly with surrounding enterprise applications. With the support of Oracle AI services—including sentiment analysis, data classification, and language intelligence—these agents introduce contextual understanding and autonomous execution capabilities that elevate ERP performance. Real-world scenarios illustrate how organizations are deploying agentic systems to boost user productivity, streamline operations, strengthen governance, and achieve greater business agility in a modern, digital-first landscape.

"The enterprise systems market has been in the SaaS phase for ten years now, and expectations have shifted as the market has matured. Gone are the days when organizations expected to save money right away with a SaaS move; the idea that just implementing a SaaS platform would automatically make business easier is also fading. Are there any sacred SaaS cows left? In this session we will take a hard look at the SaaS move, considering what hundreds of customers have experienced over the past ten years. What can you really expect? How do you mitigate risk and manage expectations? And how can you avoid becoming an industry horror story?

Staying current with PeopleSoft PUM images and Critical Patch Updates (CPUs) is essential, but limited resources, too many environments, and too little time make it hard. Without a clear plan, updates can cause downtime, missed features, and risk. This session shares tactics to streamline your updates: manage change packages, structure testing, and safely minimize downtime. Drawing on years of experience across hundreds of environments—including complex efforts with a dozen+ PUMs—we’ll share a refined playbook that delivers updates as fast as 30 minutes, averaging about 4 hours. You’ll leave with an adaptable framework to reduce risk, shorten windows, and keep teams current without burnout—plus practical tools you can apply immediately, whether you’re handling quarterly updates or simply want a better process.

With tools 8.62, and the latest HCM and FSCM images, Oracle completely changed the homepage and dashboard structure. No longer is it siloed by process, but more by role. In this session we walk through how these new Dashboards can be set up for a completely redesigned and improved way for the user to get around PeopleSoft, as well as how one of our clients has set up Dashboards already as an early adopter to provide the best experience possible for the end users. We will demo setting up a dashboard and how to quickly personalize and get the most value from this configuration.

In PeopleTools 8.62 it is possible to add and configure additional OpenSearch Plugins to OpenSearch delivered for PeopleSoft. Symantec Search can be configured using Neural Search and machine learning models. Semantic search employs Neural Search in order to determine the intention of the user’s query in the search context, thereby improving search relevance. Neural Search can use OpenSearch-provided pretrained models, your own custom models, or a foundation model hosted on an external platform. Conversational Search can be configured to use external AI LLM’s. Conversational Search uses large language models (LLMs) to read the top N documents and synthesizes those documents into a plaintext “answer” to your question. Additional Plug-Ins that can be configured are Anomaly Detection and Alerting. Anomaly detection automatically detects anomalies in your OpenSearch data in near real-time and the Alerting Plugin can notify you as soon as an anomaly is detected.

This presentation will cover identifying system performance issues within the PeopleSoft applications, as well as provide suggestions for tuning. One-third of the class will focus on tuning the application stack (e.g. Web and App server), where the remaining two-thirds of the class will cover identifying slow running SQL, and how this can be tuned to run more efficiently by re-coding, adding indexes, or even making database level changes. The class will attempt to be database/system agnostic, but most examples will be done on Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server. Target audience is system admins, developers, and DBAs of PeopleSoft systems.
