As part of Quest Experience Week—JD Edwards Day, Lisa Tran from Stoner, Inc. presented on the built-programming that JD Edwards has to do automated voucher matching. The presentation covered how the voucher automation works, what the limitations are, and how Stoner, Inc. leverages a third-party tool to enhance the process in their own organization.

Quest had the chance to speak with Matthew Stronczek, the Application Administrator at Port of Portland, about the new features they are implementing with JD Edwards 9.2.

Oracle released a tutorial video on the Oracle JD Edwards YouTube page that walks users through how to orchestrate a quick start deployment plan using the JD Edwards One-Click Provisioning Console.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2 Update 3 (9.2.3) recently added several capabilities to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne UX One in order to target easier management of large volumes of User Defined Objects (UDOs) and improved blending of activities between administrators and business analysts.

As part of Quest Experience Week 2018 JD Edwards Day, Angela Enyeart, Senior Director of Product Management from Oracle, spoke about JD Edwards UX One and how it can be leveraged to make users more efficient. UX One centers around the user experience, so it is easy for users to configure User Defined Objects (UDOs) to personalize the pages to fit their needs.

Join Penny Allen of JDEtips as she demystifies the use of the E1 toolset and provides you with an overview of the E1 architecture and development flow. She will demonstrate how data dictionary items ‘grow up’ to become tables, business views and applications, which can be further enhanced by processing option templates and versions.
