One of the strengths of PeopleSoft is the ability to customize your applications to meet unique requirements of your enterprise. Unfortunately, customizations were a problem from a life-cycle perspective, and were difficult to maintain. Now PeopleSoft has introduced several tools and methods for isolating customizations, reducing the impact on your applications life-cycle. Drop Zones are the latest feature to support isolating customizations. Using Drop Zones, you can modify application pages to include new fields and other widgets without impacting delivered pages.

PeopleSoft Personalized Analytics Notification can be used to inform you about a threshold violation. Applications can send out important notifications and system alerts using PAN. PeopleSoft Personalized Analytic Notifications extends the existing PivotGrid Thresholds to alert the users with Real time Notifications on reaching a Threshold and allowing the end user to personalize the Threshold options.
Event mapping frame work enables users to inject custom code to component/component field events without modifying the actual objects.

SIG Meetings & CallsSavannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) is the Managing and Operating Contractor for the Department of Energy Savannah River Site. SRNS employs roughly 5,000 people. The Savannah River site is located in the central Savannah River region near Aiken, South Carolina. This site has over 15,000 acres devoted to industrial facilities, research labs, and supporting infrastructure. As the SRNS team utilized their PeopleSoft platform, they recognized a need for Page and Field Configurator in two use cases.
