RV’s Strategy Spotlight– I wanted to invite you to an upcoming special event designed specifically for PeopleSoft customers known as PeopleSoft Reconnect Dive Deep, sponsored by the Quest Oracle Community.  This annual event will take place virtually Mon, Oct 4th through Thu, Oct 7th and consists of educational sessions that go deeper into the delivered PeopleSoft functionality.  The goal is for attendees to be able to take what they learn at these sessions and use it in their own environments.  PeopleSoft Reconnect Dive Deep is also very much a global event with sessions convenient for those in the EMEA and APAC time zones.  The price point for this event is one of the best values among all the events available to PeopleSoft customers – take a look at Quest’s special unlimited corporate pass.  I hope to see you there!

Customer Corner – Highlights customers who have implemented, upgraded or deployed new HCM Features

• Remote Worker – The focus group discussed the final design for Remote Worker Self Service and the Administrator Remote Worker Kibana Dashboard.
• Accessibility with PeopleSoft HCM – The focus group reviewed Display Only and Disabled fields for keyboard and screen reader users as well as accessible reports.  We also received important feedback from members on how prompt lookups, primary buttons, and the date picker should work in Fluid.
• ELM – The focus group is started discussion on the modernization and fluidization of Manager Self Service.  We will begin discussing designs and scope over the next several months. The ELM focus group meets monthly on the second Thursday of each month.
• Preboarding – The onboarding & recruiting focus groups came together to discuss requirements for different options for preboarding a future employee. Performance – The focus group met to look at design and development considerations for the new Fluid Performance Document enhancement.
• Position Management – The focus group will be meeting on September 21st to review requirements for the Position Management Kibana dashboard.

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

• Japan – Japan Tax Agency (NTA) has announced changes to the Retirement Allowance rules for employees tenure with less than 5 years.
• Singapore – Government had made an announcement in Budget 2021 about CPF for senior workers. The CPF contribution rate for workers aged above 55 to 70 years are increased effective 01 Jan 2022, this was deferred from year 2021.
• Switzerland – From 01.07.2021 a successful transmission of QST statements with wage standard CH (ELM) version 4.0 can be only guaranteed
• United Kingdom – HMRC has published new “RTI RIM artifacts” of RTI changes for 2022-2023 along with the introduction of new NI Category codes for veterans and employees working in Freeport offices.
