In environments that continue to grow in complexity the new features in Oracle 12 enhance RMANs ability to backup databases and reduces the complexity of restores when multiple databases must be involved or only partial restores need to be completed. ​This session will focus on live demonstrations using Oracle Virtual Box on testing and showing several of the new features of Oracle 12c RMAN. The benefits of features will be briefly highlighted followed by a demonstration of the feature.  Features that will be highlighted and demonstrated will be performing Point-in-Time recovery single/multiple PDBs and individual tables and backups using multisection backups..  This is the second session in this series taking up and expanding where it left off in Collaborate 2015. This session will bring an in depth understanding of these new features and enhancements to attendees.
