Strategy Update – PeopleSoft FSCM has a new Strategist! Alicia Kinsey is the new PeopleSoft Financials Product Strategy Director for Accounts Payable and General Ledger. Alicia has dedicated most of her career to implementing and supporting PeopleSoft Financials. She began her journey with PeopleSoft in 1996 with Release 3.1 and has since gained extensive experience working with Oracle PeopleSoft applications both as a consultant and as a customer. Alicia has been actively involved in PeopleSoft User Groups and currently serves as the Oracle liaison for the Quest Financials Product User Group.

Focus Group Updates: Click on the link to find a focus group to join

- Accounts Payable – In December, the focus group met to provide additional input for Fluid Supplier Approvals and to see a demo and provide input on the Match Exceptions Insights Dashboard. In January, the focus group will meet to discuss requirements for Pay Cycle Approvals and Unmasking Bank Accounts for Approvers.
- Cash Management– Focus group plans to meet in January to discuss ISO20022 requirements for bank statements.
- Lease Administration – Focus group will be meeting in mid-January to discuss the new Lease Administration Fluid WorkCenter. Our objective is to gather actionable insights to design a Lease Administration WorkCenter that serves as a central hub for managing payable and receivable leases, while enhancing operational efficiency.
- Grants Management – The Focus group met in October to discuss recently added requests to the Idea Space and to see a preview of new Project Costing rate set exclusions and partial wildcards functionality. The group will meet in January to discuss options for populating the Federal Financial Report.
***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, free to join; calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed. Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes. Expenses – Enhanced the Automobile Mileage expense type by allowing you to save favorite start and end locations as well as favorite round trips – Idea Space feature
Expenses – Added the Expenses Admin View page in Fluid to allow expense administrators the ability to view all expense reports and travel authorizations within their organization. This is regardless of whether the employee is a direct report.
Expenses – Added the Expense Administrator Insights dashboard to allow administrators to address travel and expense issues.
Expenses – Enhanced the Travel Authorization primary page to include these fields, depending on the expense type selected: a link to a new Notes window, Date, Location – Idea Space feature
Inventory – Enhanced the Distribution Type page to allow the user to make any distribution type inactive by selecting the corresponding status value – Idea Space feature
Supplier Lifecycle Management – Provided a Supplier Classification Tracking feature that allows organizations to define their own Effective Dated Classifications and Certifying Agencies, associate them to their Suppliers, and generate Notifications related to Certification expirations for a Supplier – Idea Space feature
Purchasing – Enhanced the attachment framework for Purchasing pages to allow users to select and upload multiple attachments at once.
Purchasing – Enhanced the outbound PO dispatch EDI XML to include Bill Only and Bill and Replace Header and Line custom fields –Idea Space feature
Strategic Sourcing– Enhanced RFx event award process to award up to 100% or full quantity of an Event to multiple bidders/suppliers – Idea Space feature
Supplier Contract Management – Enhanced the DocuSign digital signature to include related document attachments. This allows the signatories to comprehensively view all attachments and increase confidence to sign the contract – Idea Space feature
