Strategy Spotlight – HCM Image 45 is now available for download. Among new features for HR, Payroll, Time & Labor, Absence Management, and Recruiting, this image also contains the much anticipated enhancements for Performance Management. PeopleSoft Performance Management (ePerformance) has been redesigned in Fluid to provide a more modern user experience with better visibility and flexibility for your employees and managers. The redesign includes configuration to allow your organization to track an employee’s performance review throughout the year with multiple checkpoints. Check out this blog for an update on the major enhancements made available for customers with Image 45.

Focus Group Updates: Click on the link to find a focus group to join
- Visualization Working Group – The group was provided a deep dive into the capabilities of Search Suggestions
- Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – The ELM group did not meet in January but will be meeting in February to discuss ideas space and focus group enhancement requests. Starting in March the meeting will move to the first Thursday of the month (10am Central Time). The March meeting will have a special guest presenter from our tools organization to talk about PeopleTools 8.60 and what you can expect for ELM with that tools update.
- Benefits – The group received an email notification announcing a Position Paper, new blog on SECURE 2.0 Act – Position Paper Posted (oracle.com), and a homework assignment to start gathering their organization’s legal opinions. This group will be meeting soon for an open discussion where everyone can share their compliance strategy.
- Performance Management – With the release of Image 45 came the new fluid performance management module. Development has been working on fluid business objectives. The focus group will meet again on February 23rd (if you would like to join email [email protected])
- Accessibility – The next Accessibility focus group call is scheduled for March 22 (if you would like to join email [email protected])
- HR Helpdesk – The focus group met to discuss the design for the Solution Effectiveness Analytics Dashboard and saw a demo (POC). The group also discussed and prioritized the new features for HR Helpdesk Roadmap with the group. The next focus group call is on 20th April to review design for sending post case survey questionnaires to employees after a case is resolved.

- United States – Form I-9 is expiring this October, Dept of Homeland Security has announced significant changes to the form, but has yet to release a finalized new form (TBD). They did announce that organizations should continue to use the expired form until a new form is released.
- United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617). It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans.
- New Zealand – The New Zealand Cabinet agreed on new rates for Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) Levy and Threshold for the tax year 2023 (1st April 2023 to 31st March 2024). The changes are effective from 1st April 2023.
- New Zealand – The student loan repayment threshold has increased from $21,268 to $22,828 for the 2023/24 tax year. The changes are effective from 1st of April 2023.
- India – On the 1st of February 2023, the Indian Government presented the union budget for Financial Year 2023-24
- United Kingdom -Further to the Start of Year (SOY) changes for 2022-23, the Department of Works Pension (DWP) has announced that there are no changes to the Pension Thresholds for 2023-24.
