Strategy Update – We are very excited to have Dan Iverson join our PeopleTools Strategy Team! Dan, one of the top PeopleSoft/OCI Architects on the market, brings over 20 years of consulting experience. He has worked for school districts, cities, counties, states, and private companies, helping them take advantage of the latest PeopleSoft technology capabilities. Dan is also very active in the Oracle community and has been recognized as an Oracle ACE since 2017 for his outstanding technical contributions to the Oracle community.

We look forward to Dan helping us shape the future direction of PeopleSoft technology while continuing to work closely with the PeopleSoft community.

Focus Group Updates:   Click on the link to find a focus group to join

  • HR Helpdesk – The next HR Helpdesk focus group meeting will be September 19th where we plan to demo new enhancements planned for Image 22, like Boost Solution Search Results for Employees and HR Helpdesk Agents.
  • Human Resources – Focus group met to see the new enhancements being delivered for the Form I-9.
  • Human Resources/Recruiting – The OFFCP released a new “sample” form for Veteran’s Self-Identification for applicants and employees.  Oracle delivered the changes in a special posting (PRP) – see blog below for bug # to apply update.  Note: this update will also be included in Image 50.
  • ELM – Focus Group met and discussed the features in the next image which will be released in October. Next month we will be discussing our next roadmap features and prioritizing those enhancements.
  • Tuition Reimbursement – Focus Group will meet next to discuss the designs for this new feature.
  • Pre-boarding – We have finished development and are working on the release of this exciting feature soon. We will be meeting in September to look at what is next for our onboarding feature.
  • Time and Labor – Focus group provided feedback on roadmap Image 53 features.
  • PeopleTools – Cloud Manager Image 18 is available for customers running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Image 18 includes Role-based Access to Environments, Simplified Automated PUM Policies, Diverse Deployment Architectures, and more. See the Highlights Video for more about Cloud Manager Image 18
  • U.S. Federal – Focus group met to provide requirements for Thrift Saving Plan Enhancement. The next focus group call will be in September, we plan to demo the Edit Effective Date of Fluid PAR, and discuss future roadmap enhancements.

 ***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

  • United States – Revised Employee and Applicant Veteran self-identification form – U.S.A. Update – PRP posted
  • Brazil -Updates for PeopleSoft HCM regarding Technical Note No. 04/2024 of Simplified eSocial have been made available, the layout of which was published on June 28, 2024, specifically adjusting eConsignado project requirements.
  • United Kingdom – The Neonatal Care (Leave and Pay) Act 2023, will come into force from April 2025. The new legislation will give parents the right to take neonatal care leave and receive neonatal care pay.
  • Malaysia -The Ministry of Human Resources through the Social Security Organization(SOCSO)  had announced the Extension of the Invalidity Scheme coverage to foreign workers under the Employees’ Social Security Act 1969 (Act 4), effective July 01, 2024.
  • Australia – The Chief Minister of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT) presented the territory’s budget for the 2024-25 fiscal year on June 25, 2024. The budget incorporates taxation changes that form part of the ACT’s ongoing tax modernization program.
