       Upcoming User Groups/Webinars/Conferences:

Strategy Spotlight – We hope to see you in Dallas, TX at the Blueprint 4D conference May 8 – 11.  It’s not too late to sign up.  Blueprint 4D is the best in-person conference for PeopleSoft content in 2023.  Nearly our entire PeopleSoft Strategy team, PeopleSoft leadership including Paco Aubrejuan and Rebekah Jackson, and members of our Global Support team will be in attendance.  PeopleSoft subject matter experts will be presenting 35+ sessions that cover recently delivered functionality and roadmap investment areas.  A number of your fellow customers such as the U.S. Army, CRU, King County, State of Tennessee and Hays will be presenting how they leverage PeopleSoft for their operations.  There are also opportunities to have individual one-on-one discussions so we can dive into some of the questions you have about your PeopleSoft deployments.  Click here to register.

Focus Group Updates:   Click on the link to find a focus group to join

  • Visualization Working Group The workgroup meeting was a continuation of members providing an update of their organization’s roadmap for uptake of Insight Dashboards and building of their own visualization.
  • Human Resources – Our next focus group will be on April 26, we will review recently delivered HR enhancements and discussion/update on roadmap features like preferred name, address configurability and fluid personal data.
  • Absence Management – The focus group meeting on March 15th focused on getting feedback on the Leave Donations feature.  The new Manage Absences page was also reviewed.  Our next meeting we will be discussing the requirements for a new Fluid Absence Events/Create and Maintain Absences component.
  • Time & Labor – The focus group met on March 22nd and discussed the requirements for Direct Reports Fluid Time pages for Managers, the new configurable header and job selector that will be released in a future image, and the resetting of the Earliest Change Date (ECD) when inactive time reporters are reactivated.
  • Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – This month the focus group reviewed MSS Plans and Objectives.  We will continue to review new enhancement requests for notifications in our upcoming meeting.
  • Performance Management –  The focus group will be to starting to look at a new feature – Accomplishments (previously called Kudos).  We will be reviewing high level designs in our April meeting.  Fluid Business objectives are currently in development and we will be reviewing in a future meeting.
  • Accessibility – The focus Group met in March to discuss the Accessibility Assistant feature, WCAG 2.2 guidelines and dropdown usability on PS pages.  The next meeting will be scheduled in July (date TBD).
  • *** New Focus Group – Career Planning***– We will be starting a new Focus Group for Career Planning with our first meeting being on May 24, 2023.  This group will meet to discuss some desired enhancements and discussion on how customers are currently using this feature.  If you currently use, or have considered using the career planning part of HCM please consider joining this group.  You can join by emailing [email protected]  The group is open to all PeopleSoft HCM customers as career planning is included with the PeopleSoft HCM license and does not require a separate license to use.
  • *** New Focus Group – Tuition Reimbursement – We will be starting a new Focus Group for Tuition Reimbursement.  This focus group will meet to determine the need and desire for a tuition reimbursement functionality to be built in PeopleSoft HCM.  The Focus Group will be limited and will meet on May 25, 2023 at 10 am Central Time.  If you have a desire to be part of the focus group please email [email protected]

 ***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

  • United States – Form I-9 is expiring this October, Dept of Homeland Security has announced significant changes to the form, but has yet to release a finalized new form (TBD).  They did announce that organizations should continue to use the expired form until a new form is released.
  • United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617).  It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans.   Note: The Planned Features and Enhancement Page outlines our current roadmap. We are encouraging customers to follow our position statements and blogs as more information is released.
  • Singapore – The Ministry of Finance has made the following changes to CPF during the 2023 Budget session.
  • Malaysia – The Malaysian Government presented the budget on 24th February 2023, for the Financial Year 2023-24.
  • Malaysia – The Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia released a new version of Form C.P.8D  – Return on Remuneration from Employment, Claim for Deductions and Particulars of Income Tax deduction under the Income-tax rules 1994 (Deduction of Remuneration).
  • United Kingdom – A BACS hash code on the full payment submission (FPS) is a randomly generated code when the FPS process is run.
