Strategy Spotlight – Please join us for RECONNECT October 23 – 26 to catch up on all things PeopleSoft.  RECONNECT is the only nationwide conference that is completely focused on PeopleSoft.  The conference is 100% virtual and offers reasonable registration options, including an enterprise pass that allows you to send an unlimited number of employees for just one low price.  The entire PeopleSoft Product team will be attending and presenting up to 40 deep dive sessions.  RECONNECT sessions are intended to focus more on the setup, configuration options, and best practices for available features so that attendees are empowered to deploy delivered PeopleSoft features straight away.  Hope to see you there next week.

Focus Group Updates:   Click on the link to find a focus group to join

  • Human Resources – Focus group meet to see a preview and provide feedback on Preferred Name (Middle & Last) and the Form I-9 proposed enhancements.
  • Recruiting – Focus group met to discuss the roadmap features anticipated in the next few images. Based on great feedback we are expanding some of these features.
  • BenefitsFocus group met to discuss new roadmap features anticipated in future images. We also touched on SECURE 2.0 enhancements planned for 2024.
  • Insights – Workgroup had a discussion about new features coming in PeopleTools 8.61 and soliciting feedback for PeopleTools 8.62 enhancements as they relate to OpenSearch and PeopleSoft Insights.
  • Performance – Focus group met and discussed the upcoming recognition feature – we also discussed integration points. Our next call will be in January 2024.
  • Tuition Reimbursement– Focus group will meet on November 16th. We will be reviewing preliminary requirements that came out of the CAB before we begin the design phase.
  • Enterprise Learning Management (ELM) – We didn’t have a focus group meeting this month and we will be meeting the first Thursday in November. We will be reviewing the ideas space requests during our call and will have open time for discussion. This is the last call of the year so don’t miss it.

 ***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

    • United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617).  It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans. Here is a link to the current Position Statement and the Planned Features and Enhancement Page which outlines our current roadmap.
    • United States – IRS Announces an Administrative Transition Period for Section 603 of the SECURE 2.0 Act
    • United States – Posted new Form I-9
    • Brazil – eSocial Simplified version S-1.2
