Robots in Oracle PaaS Cloud: Connect, Analyze, Integrate & Act

Every now and then you need to free you mind and work on something completely different. That’s where the robot comes from. This home-build robot sends all kinds of sensor data to Oracle’s IoT cloud service. The data is processed in IoT CS and used to control the robot’s sensor thresholds. The robot’s movements, speed and camera can be controlled by a mobile app that was build using Oracle MAF and uses Oracle Mobile Cloud Service.
The robot can detect several kinds of anomalies in its environment. Any detected anomaly is sent to IoT Cloud Service, or even detected by IoT Cloud Service itself. These anomalies will raise an event that triggers a call to Oracle Integration Cloud Service. From within Oracle ICS the backing enterprise applications, either on Oracle Cloud, Public Cloud or on premises, are informed about the anomaly and appropriate action can be taken.

In this session you will learn how to integrate several of Oracle’s PaaS cloud solutions. You will see an end to end solution and the extra fun part here is that you will also learn a bit about the robotics involved.
