In September 2023, UF Health expanded its network with the acquisition of Flagler Health+, now UF Health St. Johns. To enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and unify HR processes, the organization transitioned from its legacy UKG ERP and HCM systems to the established PeopleSoft HCM platform used across UF Health. This transition, initiated in early 2024 and successfully completed by December 28, 2024, streamlined workflows, improved end-user experience, and delivered significant cost savings. The integration has been widely embraced by HR teams and employees, eliminating the need for managing multiple systems and enhancing self-service capabilities. The success of this initiative has positioned UF Health as a leader in enterprise healthcare transformation, earning recognition for the PeopleSoft Expansion Innovator Award. We will share best practices and lessons learned in this session which might help our peers going through similar M&A efforts.
