Title: Productivity improvement of Enterprise Applications through Autonomous Database
Session ID: 111420

Learn best practices for moving enterprise database workload which has workload characteristics of OLTP and data warehouse to Autonomous Database (ADB). In the study case we will focus on migrating PeopleSoft Application Database from ExaCS to Autonomous Database (ADB). Along with migration we will also talk about managing key aspects of Autonomous Database (ADB) like scalability, performance, using autonomous health framework and automating problem. Also, we will share how to use Oracle enterprise manager and Oracle management Cloud to maximize performance and rebalance workloads.
In second part of this session we will delve into consolidation of database instances on ExaCC platform. We will go through our real-world experience where we migrated around 150 TB of data to ExaCC platform which supported enterprise application like EBS and OBIEE.

Title: Oracle Graph: A How-To for DBAs and Developers
Session ID: 106630

Graphs are a different way of looking at data and a graph data model provides new insights based on the connections and relationships in data. Growing numbers of developers and data scientists want to access graph capabilities to find clusters, detect paths, and uncover unusual patterns in data. The graph feature of Oracle Database enables developers to create graphs from database tables, search for graph patterns, and apply graph algorithms to data. This session is a how-to for DBAs and developers to support their organizations in using the graph feature of Oracle Database. We will explain what the graph feature is, how it can be installed, what components are necessary, what tools are available, and how developers in a short time can get started with querying and analyzing graphs.
