Over the last few years, First Capital Realty transformed its ERP system from a bloated ERP with a variety of disparate systems to a leaner, Hybrid ERP with a combination of Cloud and On-premise solutions. The final stages transformed it into a Hybrid ERP with integrations that allow for smoother processes, time savings, and costs savings.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2.3 was recently released on November 8, 2018. This update included enhancements to features like Orchestrator, Notification Message Center and My Worklist, Form Extension, UX One, and platform certifications. The release also included the enablement of 64-bit processing for the Enterprise Server and Development Client—joining the previously 64-bit enabled HTML, AIS, BSSV, and RTE servers. JD Edwards has already supported 64-bit hardware, operating systems, databases and middleware for multiple years.

To accelerate digital transformation, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Tools Release 9.2 Update 3 (9.2.3) recently added enhancements to several features including Notification Message Center and My Worklist, Form Extension and platform certifications. The new Message Center available in Tools 9.2.3 allows users to have more control over their notification messages. Capabilities including search, group, sort and deleting multiple messages at once make it easier for users to manage their messages.

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. is a global provider of comprehensive highway and facilities services, first implemented JD Edwards in 2008 on EnterpriseOne release 9.0. The company upgraded to 9.2 at the end of 2016. It was done in five months, on time and under budget. They now run Financials, Distribution, Payroll and HR and Work Orders. They built 9.2 in all new hardware/VM, and they are moving toward being 100 percent virtualized.
