Lisa Chow, HCM Product Manager Director at Oracle, recently gave an overview of what’s new and exciting in the world of PeopleSoft Time and Labor. There are some new pages, some old pages made new again, and new navigation. In her presentation, Lisa walked through how to use the pages, which device they should be used on, and the configuration that will help your organization make the pages meet your needs. She also showed the new Navigation Dashboard, which will make presenting the pages to time reporters easier.

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) is the Managing and Operating Contractor for the Department of Energy Savannah River Site. SRNS employs roughly 5,000 people. The Savannah River site is located in the central Savannah River region near Aiken, South Carolina. This site has over 15,000 acres devoted to industrial facilities, research labs, and supporting infrastructure. As the SRNS team utilized their PeopleSoft platform, they recognized a need for Page and Field Configurator in two use cases.

Robbin Velayedam, Senior Director of Product Management for PeopleSoft HCM, gave a presentation with an update on the HCM roadmap. PeopleSoft customer success stories are the foundation for creating a roadmap for HCM updates. This roadmap focuses on specific responsibilities of HR professionals including Benefits Open Enrollment, Timesheets, Payroll Work Centers, Compensation History, Onboarding, Company Directories, Privacy Frameworks, Year End Forms, and Employee Snapshots.

As part of Quest Experience Week—PeopleSoft Day, Kim O’Connor, the Senior IT Manager at Tower International, gave a presentation about the company’s process of implementing self-service. The presentation covered the phases of implementation, considerations to keep in mind, and how they handled support and testing.

As part of Quest Experience Week—PeopleSoft Day, Rick Delaney, part of the PeopleSoft Strategy team for Payroll for North America, spoke about Fluid WorkCenters and how they can make life easier for your payroll department.

The French Government, as part of their annual routine, has announced updates on Social Security Ceilings, Benefit In Kind (Lodgment, Food/meal), Minimum Salary (SMIC), Garnishments (Saisies sur Salaires) or Fillon Reduction. These changes are effective from January 1, 2019.
