What to Expect the Day of Your Presentation

Quick Tips

  • Arrive to the presentation room 15 minutes prior to your presentation start time.

  • Bring your personal laptop with your saved slide deck on it to the room in which you be presenting. Note: Macs will be able to be used but will need to be connected with a HDMI adapter, provided by our A/V team.

  • All presenters must use the microphone even if you feel confident in your ability to project your voice; you will be able to choose if you prefer a handheld microphone or lavalier.

  • All presenters should repeat audience questions into the microphone before answering.

  • An A/V tech will be available in your hallway; please follow all instructions; they are there to provide the best quality audio for audience. Don’t see an A/V tech? A Quest staff member will also be available to ensure you receive the assistance you need.

  • At the end of your session, please remind attendees that they can share feedback by completing the session survey by selecting the “Rate Session” button on the session listing in the mobile app. Attendees who submit four or more session evaluations in a day will be entered to win a $500 gift card. There is a slide calling this out at the end of the slide deck template.
