  • Insights – Focus Group met in January with The School District of Lee County, FL who shared their latest deployment of Insights.
  • Recruiting – Focus Group saw a demo of the new Manage Job Opening configurations delivered in Image 48 and customers gave feedback for upcoming enhancements that are on the roadmap.
  • Accessibility -Focus Group will meet in March to see a demo of Accessibility Assistant in PT 8.61 and future enhancements for PT 8.62
  • Absence Management – Focus Group will meet on February 22nd to discuss and vote on possible roadmap items
  • Time and Labor – Focus Group will meet on February 21st to discuss and vote on possible roadmap items.
  • US Federal – In the focus group meeting on Jan 25th, we discussed the new OPM Project Management and Teleworker data tracking fields and how the delivered Remote Worker feature in PeopleSoft HR can help Federal customers track agency teleworkers.  There was also a special, in person meeting of the Oracle PeopleSoft Federal SIG in Rosslyn, VA on Jan 30th where we discussed strategic initiatives including PeopleSoft on OCI and the roadmap for PeopleSoft HCM for Federal customers.

***Important Note*** Focus Groups are open to all customers, calls are typically once a month for an hour or as needed.  Your organization needs to have a current CPCA (customer participation confidentiality agreement) since Oracle discloses future design and prototypes.

  • United States – On December 29, 2022 the SECURE 2.0 Act was signed into law by President Biden as part of the Consolidate Appropriations Act of 2023 (HR 2617).  It contains 92 provisions affecting United States retirement savings plans. Here is a link to the current Position Statement and the Planned Features and Enhancement Page which outlines our current roadmap.
  • United States – IRS Announces an Administrative Transition Period for Section 603 of the SECURE 2.0 Act
  • New Zealand – The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has published the new rates for Accident Compensation Corporation (ACC) Levy and Student Loan Threshold changes for the year 2024/25, effective 1st April 2024
  • India – The Central Government of India presented an Interim budget in the Parliament on 01 Feb 2024
  • SingaporeThe Provident and Tax (PAT) – IRAS Service has published a new version of IRAS file specifications 15.0, effective from 2024 submissions
