P-053112: 30 Years on IBM i — Why Move to OCI Now?
This session was presented at INFOCUS 2026.
After more than 30 years running JD Edwards EnterpriseOne on IBM with a DB2 database, Little Rapids Corporation reached a pivotal crossroads and made the decision to move to cloud infrastructure. While the IBM platform had delivered decades of stability, the combination of highly specialized knowledge and an untested disaster recovery plan introduced increasing risk to the business. This session explores how Little Rapids made the strategic decision to modernize to a resilient, scalable foundation. Through a candid, real-world case study, Little Rapids shares its end-to-end journey migrating JDE from a self-managed on-premises environment to managed services supported cloud environment. The session will touch on what it took to identify all necessary updates required to make the change including converting IBM applications, updating third-party integrations (EDI, taxes, data analytics, credit card payments, scheduler) and transforming the database. The conversion took months of preparation and weeks of testing to insure a successful transition during an 8-hour downtime window in April 2026. Attendees will gain insight into the critical decisions, lessons learned, and practical execution steps that shaped the migration. This is not just a migration story, it is a blueprint for transitioning to a platform suited for growth and continuous transformation.

P-053006: Modernizing JD Edwards with Steltix Appshare: A Customer Success Story
This session was presented at INFOCUS 2026.
Organizations running JD Edwards often struggle to deliver simple, modern user experiences for business processes that span manufacturing, warehouse operations, inventory, procurement, quality, approvals, and more. Steltix Appshare is a low-code application platform that enables organizations to rapidly build and deploy intuitive web and mobile applications that work with standard JD Edwards transactions—without modifying EnterpriseOne. Running on browsers, tablets, scanners, and mobile devices, Appshare helps simplify complex ERP processes while accelerating user adoption and reducing development effort. In this customer-led session, hear how one global manufacturer used Appshare to modernize its shop floor operations by replacing a legacy manufacturing application with a streamlined mobile solution for labor reporting, work order completion, operation status, and manufacturing execution. Built on JD Edwards AIS and Orchestrations, the solution preserved standard ERP processing while delivering a dramatically improved user experience. We'll also discuss the results after production deployment, including operator feedback, rapid enhancements, and the flexibility to evolve the application as business needs changed. Finally, we'll demonstrate how the same Appshare platform can be used far beyond manufacturing to rapidly deliver purpose-built applications across warehouse management, inventory, procurement, approvals, quality, and many other JD Edwards business processes. Learning Objectives * Discover how Appshare enables rapid development of modern web and mobile applications for JD Edwards without modifying EnterpriseOne. * Learn how one manufacturer modernized shop floor operations while preserving standard JD Edwards processes and improving the operator experience. * Explore how the same low-code platform can be extended across manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, procurement, quality, approvals, and other JD Edwards business functions.

P-052980: Weaver Leather's Digital Transformation Playbook: How JD Edwards Connected Customers Drove Real Business Results
This session was presented at INFOCUS 2026.
In today's digital landscape, the full potential of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is frequently underutilized, particularly when it comes to customer-facing operations. While Customer Service, Sales, and Finance teams rely on JD Edwards daily, routine customer inquiries continue to generate manual work, slow response times, and operational inefficiencies that drain resources and frustrate customers. The organizations overcoming these challenges are doing so by implementing JD Edwards-centric self-service portals and B2B ecommerce platforms that put customers in control and keep JD Edwards as the single source of truth for every interaction. This session showcases how modern JD Edwards-integrated portals are transforming customer operations, enabling customers to search products with AI-powered search, check real-time inventory and pricing, place orders with AI-driven purchase order importing, view and pay invoices, access warranty services, all on a 24/7 basis from a single unified platform. Attendees will discover how this approach drives down operational costs, boosts customer satisfaction, eliminates manual CSR workload, and ensures JD Edwards EnterpriseOne remains the authoritative source of truth across every customer touchpoint. Whether you are evaluating your first portal initiative or looking to modernize an existing one, this session will show you how a JD Edwards-integrated digital commerce platform can transform your operations and make your team's job significantly easier.

P-052925: JDE E1 Mobile Inventory Tracking Journey
This session was presented at INFOCUS 2026.
When Atkore, a leading electrical, safety, and infrastructure solutions provider, partnered with RF-SMART in 2017 to implement a mobile inventory management solution on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, the goal was straightforward: improve accuracy and visibility across warehouse operations. What followed was nearly a decade of continuous evolution. This session traces Atkore's journey from initial deployment to a fully mature, 64-bit, high-availability platform running 24/7 across multiple time zones. Presenters will walk through the starting scenario, the decisions made along the way — including location expansions, server and software upgrades, and capacity scaling — and the hard-won lessons learned at each stage. Attendees will gain insight into what it takes to grow an enterprise WMS deployment alongside a growing business, how to manage complexity introduced by multi-site and multi-timezone operations, and how Atkore and RF-SMART have continued to unlock new functionality over time. Now operating on JDE E1 Release 26 and RF-SMART 6.0.3, Atkore's platform reflects years of refinement. This session will cover the measurable improvements achieved, the current state of the platform, and a forward-looking discussion on what the next phase may hold. Whether you are early in your RF-SMART or JDE E1 journey or looking to scale an existing deployment, this session offers a practical, experience-driven roadmap for long-term success.

P-053150: Tips, Tricks & Traps: JDE System Administration Secrets You Won't Find in the Manual
This session was presented at INFOCUS 2026.
After years in the JD Edwards trenches, you collect a particular kind of knowledge — the settings, shortcuts and behaviors that aren't in any manual and that you usually learn the hard way. This session is a fast-paced collection of technical and CNC system-administration tips, tricks and traps drawn from real-world projects: small things that save hours, and a few innocent-looking options that quietly cause chaos down the line. For each one we'll keep it practical — what it appears to do, what it actually does behind the scenes, and the right way to handle it. Whether you're a CNC administrator, a technical consultant or a power user, you'll walk away with a handful of immediately usable techniques, a few "never do this" warnings, and a sharper instinct for the non-obvious side of JD Edwards.
