New fields have been added to the recently delivered Work Order Activity Rules for manufacturing to trigger entries into ledger tables at selected statuses when work order records are added, changed, or deleted. This new Work Order Ledger feature simplifies tracking of work order changes (header, parts list, or routing) to satisfy auditing or regulatory requirements.

As part of Quest Experience Week (QXW) 2019, Oracle's own Nick Velharticky and Kirk Harris spoke about the Simplified Diagnostics Collector for JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The Simplified Diagnostics Collector (Collect and Generate Diagnostics) provides a simple interface to efficiently and automatically collect diagnostic data and system information using Server Manager. You have the flexibility to collect data pertaining to Deployment Server, Enterprise Server, HTML Server, and Server Manager Console. The Simplified Diagnostics Collector is now available with Tools Release 9.2.3.4.

Quest recently spoke with Derek D’Alessandro, Vice President of IT at Holiday Retirement, about the company’s upgrade to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 and their move to OCI.
