During Quest Experience Week (QXW) 2019, we explored the world of chatbots, digital assistants, and the future. There are thousands of chatbots in use today, and if you’ve called or texted a customer services group, then you’ve likely encountered one. It's important to understand where chatbots are in use and what their value is to both the individual and the organization. At RECONNECT 19, Jian Wen, Oracle Product Strategy Director for PeopleSoft Financial Management Solutions, spoke about how to integrate the latest innovations for PeopleSoft Finance and Accounting. She provided an update on Oracle’s PeopleSoft Financial Control and Reporting solution and the efficiency gained with Fluid expansions such as maintenance of the financial structure, journal entry through configuration, and real-time insights with business intelligence as the period close progresses. There are several PeopleSoft Financials capabilities that you can selectively adopt as well as many planned features on the roadmap that help to drive efficiency, productivity, and a shorter close cycle, as well as new reporting opportunities.

As part of Quest Experience Week (QXW) 2019, Anita Paye, Director of Finance Compass Support at Emory University, spoke about how the university handled change management to ensure the success of its new ERP system implementation in 2014 after a failed attempt in 2009. She covered four change management pillars, the reasons people resist change, and practical ways to help them move forward.

Delivered in Image 29 and 33, this journal entry point for PeopleSoft General Ledger has the same power as the Classic Plus Journal Entry feature. Your users can add new journals, edit, copy, and post journals. 

Customers have been branding their PeopleSoft environments for many years with Classic PeopleSoft. This typically included rich websites. Now that PeopleSoft is moving to Fluid user interface, the concentration is shifting toward Fluid branding capabilities. There are many resources available for Classic branding, but since Fluid is the strategic direction for PeopleSoft, this PeopleSoft Spotlight Series video focused only on branding Fluid applications.
