What an experience attending Quest Blueprint 4D as my first in-person conference since 2019. Honestly, I had nerves right before, but in the end, I was happy I chose to present in person. We have adapted well to video conferencing tools, but I miss the personable interactions. The energy felt in a room also can’t be experienced without being there in person. When presenting to the audience, their expressions helped me know if what I was talking about was well received. I especially loved seeing the smiles and excitement when demoing Payroll for North America roadmap items.

Beginning January 1, 2023, the PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM, and Campus Solutions applications will adopt a delivery schedule of 3 Images per year instead of 4.  

Payroll for North America will deliver 4 tax updates per year instead of 5. Tax updates will continue to be included with the PeopleSoft HCM Images except for the end-of-the-year tax update, which is delivered using a PRP. 

Did you know that Release 9.2 PeopleSoft Update Images released on PeopleTools 8.59 can automate the downloading of PeopleSoft Release Patchset (PRP)?

Will you be joining us at Quest Blueprint 4D, a virtual and in-person conference in Las Vegas? The conference will cover PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, Oracle Cloud apps, Oracle Database & Technology, and Oracle Commerce.  

Paco Aubrejuan, SVP for PeopleSoft, will be providing a Keynote on PeopleSoft Investment Strategy. In addition, Rebekah Jackson, VP for Product Management and Strategy, & Srilakshmi Ramachandra will be giving a Keynote on Making the Most of PeopleSoft in 2022: Your ‘In The Know’ Update.   

Many PeopleSoft strategists and I will be attending and presenting in person from Las Vegas June 6th to 9th. We know that many organizations still have travel restrictions.  Quest has provided in-person, virtual, and corporate registration options. We are looking forward to you seeing you in Las Vegas or online.

In HCM 9.2 Image 43, Payroll for North America introduced the new feature Quick Calculation.  I highly recommend customers look at this feature as an easy added value for your payroll department. Quick Calculation allows the administrator to select an employee to calculate and see the paycheck results directly on the payline.  There is no longer a need to wait for the entire pay calculation process to complete in order to check on one employee calculation.

The PeopleSoft Team will participate full force at the Quest PeopleSoft RECONNECT Virtual Conference. I love this conference because we get to focus on the details of the features delivered to our customers. We can dive deeper, which may help you discover an aspect of our PeopleSoft product that we have provided or will be offering.

During RECONNECT 20, Cameron McClurg, Managing Director with SpearMC’s Seattle office, and Gary Dranikoski, Director of SpearMC in Pittsburgh, presented best practices for the PeopleSoft services they employ at SpearMC – including application support, hosting, and Testing as a Service.
