End users and business analysts alike are responsible for correcting a wide array of business exceptions. Identifying them in a timely manner though can be a challenging prospect. PeopleSoft's Personalized Analytics Notifications feature is a welcomed addition, providing a solution that is easily configured without the need for technical assistance. Anyone with a decent grasp of PS Query and Pivot Grids can add intelligent notifications to reduce response times to exceptions and increase efficiency in business processes.

In this session, we will walk through adding a Personalized Analytics Notification (PAN) to an existing Pivot Grid. We will then showcase a real-world application explaining how the tool can help not only end users, but teams supporting the system itself, all without requiring technical intervention.

Tiles, Homepages, Dashboards, Nav Collections and Fluid WorkCenters, oh my!

For many organizations who try to "go Fluid," the lack of breadcrumbs seems to turn into a deal-breaker for both IT and business users. Ilynx was hired by a customer to modernize their Physical Inventory process. The objective was to utilize the latest cutting edge technologies and solve the following issues.

-Poor UI experience for Inventory Clerks
-Data integrity issues due to manual file movements/data manipulations
-Reliance on custom 3rd party software solutions
-Process inefficiencies – paper-based processes
-Unsupported systems
-Difficulty with audit traceability for transactions

Ilynx implemented PeopleSoft Fluid Physical Inventory and coupled it with best in class scanning equipment to create a streamlined solution that solved the current problems. The project was a huge success and not only transformed the Asset tracking process but also marked the agency's first step into using PeopleSoft fluid capabilities with mobile devices.  The work required for mobile security laid the groundwork for adopting additional mobile applications.

We'll show you how NorthWestern Memorial Hospital simplified its Financials Chartfield, procurement, and HCM processes to allow employees easier steps to complete online self-service transactions in PeopleSoft.

Each process is completed via configuration, limited developer intervention with no customizations required. We will demonstrate the extensive configuration options of questions, responses, data fields, PeopleCode functions, and Component Interfaces.
