LSB Chemicals has been working to implement new user defined object (UDO) functionality since upgrading to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.2 As part of Quest Experience Week (QXW) 2019, Chantelle Cory, CNC Administrator at LSB Chemicals, spoke about how LSB Chemicals implemented JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Notifications to give users timely information and allow them to respond quickly to rapidly changing business needs. Sometimes users start working and then forget which EnterpriseOne environment they are logged into. Can you tell which environment you are logged into? Luckily, there is a new UDC that allows you to change your EnterpriseOne environment color. You can now set up environments to be color-coded for when you need a clear visual distinction as to which environment you are logged into. This enables you to quickly identify the non-production environments by color.

In Tools Release 9.2.4, with a 64-bit deployment server, the handling of specifications has changed. An ESU install with a 32-bit deployment server performs an automated specification merge for business view, tables, and batch specifications. An ESU install with a 64-bit deployment server will replace the specifications in the destination.
