JD Edwards EnterpriseOne continues to evolve as a modern, connected workspace—allowing users to combine transactions, analytics, and external resources into a single interface. One of the most impactful ways to enhance user efficiency is by embedding dashboards, URLs, and web applications directly into JD Edwards through EnterpriseOne Pages and Café One layouts. This session explores practical methods for integrating external content such as BI dashboards, SharePoint sites, Power BI visuals, ReportsNow dashboards, or intranet pages directly within JD Edwards. Attendees will learn: •How to configure EnterpriseOne Pages with interactive hyperlinks and embedded content. •How to use Café One to link JDE applications with related dashboards or web-based tools. •Best practices for layout design, security, and performance optimization. •Tips for presenting contextual information—so users can access transactions, analytics, and reference data without leaving JD Edwards.

King County sought to modernize its legacy “one size fits all” web services by transitioning from SOAP/XML-based component interfaces to RESTful services with the Application Services Framework (ASF). This allowed us to streamline and automate deployments to our API management provider. As part of this transition, we adopted the OpenAPI specification to standardize our API definitions. In this session, we’ll explore our use of ASF, the differences between document-centric and schema-driven parameters, and the implications of Design First versus Code First methodologies. Some of the shortcomings of ASF will also be discussed.

Join us for a lively and informative discussion featuring customers who have successfully implemented the PeopleSoft Match Exception Collaboration Center with the help of SpearMC/Mythics. If your organization struggles with persistent match exceptions in the Procure-to-Pay cycle — driving up costs, delaying payments, and frustrating staff — this session is for you. Our panelists from Temple University Health System and the Port of Virginia will share their experiences deploying this new functionality, delivered by Oracle in PUM Image 40, and how it has transformed their AP operations. You’ll hear real-world insights into configuration decisions, workflow design, and change-management strategies that led to measurable improvements in efficiency, visibility, and accountability. Attendees will walk away with practical lessons learned, key success factors, and a roadmap for how to evaluate and implement the Match Exception Collaboration Center within their own PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain environments — turning a long-standing pain point into an opportunity for automation and collaboration.

Product returns are expensive, slow, and manual because someone has to touch and inspect each item before a decision is made. That lag drives up warehouse labor, delays refunds, and leaves your JD Edwards inventory and recovery values out of sync with reality. In this session, we'll show how JDE EnterpriseOne Orchestrator and Generative AI can pre-classify product condition before the item arrives, using only the customer's return comments. You'll see how free-text reasons are converted into clear disposition categories—New/Sealed, Like New, Refurbishable, Damaged, or Non-Resale (hygiene/severe damage)—and then drive an automated workflow in JDE: Orchestrator receives the JSON payload from a third-party returns system, calls GenAI for classification, creates the appropriate purchase order, and uses Receipt Routing to apply the correct status so inventory and refund processes update with zero or minimal manual review. We'll walk through the orchestration design, the GenAI prompt pattern, error/low-confidence handling, and how to measure business impact in cycle time, labor savings, and recovery value.

Did you know there have been more than 400 enhancements to JD Edwards 9.2 Tools since its release in October 2015? While many of these improvements happen behind the scenes, a significant number directly enhance the user experience and support your Digital Transformation and Automation initiatives. Do you fully understand what your current Tools Release offers from a User Experience and Digital Transformation perspective? Join me for this session as we take a straightforward look at the enhancements delivered with each Tools Release since the launch of 9.2. I’ve done the research and compiled a simple, easy to follow list to guide our discussion. As a consultant, I can typically access the latest features within days of their GA release; however, this isn’t always as simple for customers. With Oracle delivering new features every couple od months—plus a major release each year—it can be challenging for organizations to stay current. Although Oracle has significantly simplified the upgrade process, for many customers even a minor Tools Release update can still feel like a major project. In this session, we’ll explore the key features delivered in each release and learn how to make the most of what you already have access to—whether or not it’s the very latest version.
