The market for electric cars in Norway is powering ahead, with most new cars being fully electric or hybrid. In addition to new sales, there are also many used electrical vehicles being sold with buyers typically requiring a home charger installed. Circle K Norway provide home chargers and installations and sell them online.
Online orders went into Salesforce and sales staff would receive a notification email. The challenge was that each order had to be manually registered in JDE taking up to 10-15 mins each time. Manual entry also meant that there was potential for human error to creep into order data entry.
Circle K wanted to automate the entire process from Salesforce to JD Edwards. Using Orchestrator, the team developed an orchestration and API for Salesforce integration.
Now each order takes 1 minute to process versus 10-15 minutes originally. The orchestration works so well, that Circle K Norway are now looking to use it for B2B transactions and in other use case scenarios.
Objectives
Cut out all non-value-added activities using orchestration.
Remove human mistakes and errors.
Improve efficiency by repeating this tactic for other business transactions/activities.

Create an Orchestration to use data input to create a file in a label format and then drop the file to a print server. Create a form extension button to call the Orchestration mapping data from the grid as input. Selecting one of more grid row records to produce and print a label from within JDE. Specific example is using P42101 W42101C to select multiple rows to produce a custom label for boxes during the shipping process.
Objectives
Demonstrate how to create an Orchestration to produce a label format.
Demonstrate creating a form extension to call an Orchestration
Demonstrate iterating over grid records when calling an Orchestration

Whataburger faced significant challenges with BigCommerce to create online (non-food) orders in real-time in JDE. It lacked the clear visibility to track and sync the orders between both systems. The combination of the BSSV/EDI approach was not helpful as there was a delay in creating orders. Hear our story of how we built a real-time solution using a JDE Orchestration to get the orders created with no flaws. Also, the challenges we have encountered with the KIT items.
Objectives
To demonstrates the implementation and use of JD Edwards Orchestrator, BigCommerce Integration
Challenges faced.

Manual Billing Entry in E1 is a simple process that is indeed very manual. This presented a perfect opportunity to automate this function harnessing the power of the EnterpriseOne Orchestrator. The entire process from getting the files from an FTP site , to uploading the data in E1 , posting the batches and emailing the results and exceptions has been automated end to end using the Orchestrator.
