A recent Oracle blog, written by Frank Nimphius, explored how to integrate frequently asked questions (FAQs) with Q&A intents and framework in Oracle Digital Assistant. Creating a bot to provide answers to frequently asked questions (FAQs) is a popular first chatbot project. The expectation is that the chatbot will reduce the number of calls needing to be handled by a human and that it will increase the number of service requests that can be processed within a given time. Chatbots that answer questions certainly live up to that expectation, but they are not very engaging and certainly could do more.

As part of Quest Experience Week (QXW) 2019, Manish Somani, Senior Director of Product Development at Oracle, and David Scott, Director of Product Strategy at Oracle, presented an overview of the plans for a solution to help companies manage their joint ventures in Oracle Cloud. The pair shared an overview of the Oracle Fusion Joint Venture Management Cloud and the planned features and benefits throughout the lifecycle of a joint venture. 

Linda Peel, Industry Lead for Consumer Goods and Retail, spoke about Oracle capabilities that can help Consumer Goods companies generate and evaluate forecasts, provide a base volume that shows trend and seasonality impacts, and evaluate each element of the trade spend across price, merchandising, special store placement, consumer incentives, etc.
