Chatbots are one of the four new and exciting initiatives within PeopleSoft. Other initiatives include Position Management, Delegation, and Drop Zones.

Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) was able to leverage the PeopleSoft Page and Field Configurator in several use cases as an alternative to making customizations.

Endeavour Foundation has been using PeopleSoft since 2013, and recently upgraded to 9.2 and implemented the new features and functionality in PUM Image 27.

By leveraging PeopleSoft pivot grid technology, the PeopleSoft Workforce Insight dashboard enables users to view tiles with real-time workforce data. You can easily move between analytics for in-depth analysis from different vantage points. PeopleSoft HCM delivers the HR Analytics Administrator role to secure the Workforce Insight dashboard and the individual analytics on the dashboard. Authorized users can access analytics from the dashboard. 

At COLLABORATE 19, Julie Alonso and Jeremy Pelley, Product Management Directors at Oracle, gave a breakdown of all legislative and regulatory updates, how PeopleSoft complies with these updates, and enhancements to other features within PeopleSoft Human Resources. 

Learn how Kaiser Permanente successfully completed a ‘Quad Play’ upgrade in 2018 for their single-instance finance and supply chain PeopleSoft ERP supporting 250;000 users! This included upgraded the Oracle Database from 11g to 12.2; PeopleTools from 8.55.16 to 8.56.07; PeopleSoft Image (PUMs) Upgrade from 24 to 27 and Fluid UI Feature adoption (Classic Plus pages; Fluid based Home pages and Navigation Collections). We included 11 required new features and 2;548 total bug fixes! Learn about the combined project – why we chose to do the 4 major upgrade scope elements; how we structured the project; how we managed risk; how the cut-over weekend and initial support has gone since the Sep. 17th cut-over date.

The PeopleSoft HR Helpdesk allows employees to get answers to HR-related questions, look up solutions to known issues, and create and track their HR cases using desktop, laptop, or mobile devices. This PeopleSoft CRM application is set up and operated from CRM but extracts and displays data that is stored in PeopleSoft HCM. It provides a complete view of a person’s HCM data.

In today’s world of technology, the rate of disruption is fast and constant. To keep up with customer needs, the PeopleSoft team is constantly updating the applications strategy and roadmap that addresses changing user expectations, new business models, shifting landscapes of competitors, rapidly evolving technology, and constant cost reductions. Rebekah Jackson, Vice President of Product Strategy for PeopleSoft, walked through the main investment areas within PeopleSoft. She also shared the latest updates to PeopleSoft Recruiting, Workforce Administration, Talent Development, Credit to Cash, Financial Management and Operations, Procure to Pay, and IT.

Data privacy deals with the proper handling of an individual’s sensitive and personal information. Many organizations face the challenge of using employee and applicant data while protecting a person’s privacy and personal identifiable information. Following legislative requirements across many regions, like the EU and California, employees and applicants need to be informed about the purpose and use of their data before you ask them to provide consent to process their data.
