An initial Proof of Concept was performed using the delivered PeopleSoft Payment Request functionality. However, the delivered PeopleSoft Payment Request form did not have the SRS required fields and controls to meet all Non-PO APV requirements.
SRNS IT Developers; designed and developed a bolt on Payment Request system was created to replace the Site-Wide Forms.
To accommodate SRS specific requirements a custom bolt-on fluid self-service interface called the “SRS Payment Request Center” was created to enable more flexibility of the user interface and provide tailored workflow to each site-wide form individually.
Using AWE (Approval Workflow Engine), the delivered PS Payment Request processes will process data through the voucher build process to create a voucher to be processed into a payment.
This approach minimizes maintenance, avoids customizations, and maximizes usability/functionality.

Presented at RECONNECT Envision 2021

Session ID: 101700

Currently, there is a lack of standardization of asset information for items like: name, model, manufacturer, equipment parts list, contracts, service/repairs, reporting, etc.  This session will be an open forum to discuss the consistency and/or inconsistency of data across the enterprise in an effort to identify elements that can help reduce system errors and improve end user capability.  Also, identify useful Mistake Proofing methods where everyone engaged in an organization’s system can use it the same way to manage data effectively.  We also intend to address issues associated with data misalignment to achieve better reporting and contract utilization, as well as how to drive down service/repair costs and mitigate compliance risks.

Linda Peel, Industry Lead for Consumer Goods and Retail, spoke about Oracle capabilities that can help Consumer Goods companies generate and evaluate forecasts, provide a base volume that shows trend and seasonality impacts, and evaluate each element of the trade spend across price, merchandising, special store placement, consumer incentives, etc.

In today's consumer landscape, many Millennials are more concerned than ever with supporting brands whose business practices have a positive impact on the environment, employees, and the regions from which they source their materials. People want organic, grass-fed goods when they shop. Accenture's 2018 global consumer pulse report surveyed over 30,000 consumers to find out why they purchase certain brands over another. The results showed an emphasis on what a brand says, does, and stands for, which is why Oracle Chief Sustainability Officer Jon Chorley explained that transparent supply chains improve brand integrity and ultimately get people to shop from that brand.
