As part of Quest’s 2019 JD Edwards Orchestrator Week, Tom Spoke from Trek Bikes presented on how Trek Bikes was able to leverage the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Orchestrator to help foster the company’s culture of employee health and wellness by helping employees track their personal bike and parts/accessory orders from the distribution center to Trek Bikes’ headquarters. This Orchestrator use case helped both promote wellness and improve efficiency within the workplace.

A recent JD Edwards tutorial video showed how to set up and process advanced variable numerator single tiered allocations for a joint venture. The objectives of the video were to help users:

The Collection Manager role and the associated pages and components enable Collection Managers to quickly view important information about invoice trends, overdue receipts, delinquency notices, and customer payments.

There are 52 roles delivered in UX One for rapid deployment. You can leverage this out-of-the-box content, configure the roles, or create your own material from scratch. With UX One, users can also enjoy UDOs like role-based landing pages, Watchlists, analytic components and a springboard filled with related actions. This Alert, Analyze, Act paradigm design within UX One makes users more proactive and efficient in their day-to-day work.

As Lyle Ekdahl, JD Edwards General Manager, puts it, citizen developers are the business analysts and other non-developers who leverage JD Edwards configuration, extensibility, and personalization platforms to configure solutions that enable their business processes, and the end-users who personalize it to meet their individual needs. To empower these citizen developers, there are several citizen developer frameworks within JD Edwards EnterpriseOne to help them configure, extend, and personalize their environments.

A.J. Schifano, Product Manager for Oracle JD Edwards, presented an overview of the recent enhancements to notifications made within the last year.

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Notifications were designed as a way to keep JD Edwards users in tune and up to date with what is going on within their business without having to be chained to their desk and logged into JD Edwards. Users can receive notifications through email, the JD Edwards user interface, or SMS text messages when issues come up, thresholds are met, etc.
