A Oracle YouTube video gave a quick overview of how to set search and page preferences in JD Edwards. You can personalize or limit which search groups your searches will initially execute using the My Searches feature. Similarly, using the My Pages feature, you can also limit the number of pages that are displayed in the page navigation bar to the pages you frequently use. This quick demo shows how to use the My Searches and My Pages features to set your preferences.

Learn how a global organization with operations around the world migrated their PeopleSoft Financials 9.2 Financials and HCM and Hyperion 11.1.2.4 environment seamlessly from a private hosting environment to AWS in 42 days in time to support year end processing. PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface, mobility solutions, and the Hyperion Toolset were all used to automate internal processes that were previously manual and time consuming.

As part of the PeopleSoft HCM Configuration Series, Hannah Gacey and Mike Betschart from King County spoke about King County’s integrated release set and approach to customization management. In 2015, King County adopted a release set delivery strategy to align human capital management (HCM) system updates with PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) Image releases. This strategy has been refined over the years to keep King County current with the latest available Images and give users access to the latest features and functionality.
During the presentation, Gacey and Betschart discussed King County’s approach to Images, how King County is creating a culture of innovation by actively managing customizations, utilizing Event Mapping to using testing automation, and implementing release sets every six to eight weeks.
