Title: Productivity improvement of Enterprise Applications through Autonomous Database
Session ID: 111420

Learn best practices for moving enterprise database workload which has workload characteristics of OLTP and data warehouse to Autonomous Database (ADB). In the study case we will focus on migrating PeopleSoft Application Database from ExaCS to Autonomous Database (ADB). Along with migration we will also talk about managing key aspects of Autonomous Database (ADB) like scalability, performance, using autonomous health framework and automating problem. Also, we will share how to use Oracle enterprise manager and Oracle management Cloud to maximize performance and rebalance workloads.
In second part of this session we will delve into consolidation of database instances on ExaCC platform. We will go through our real-world experience where we migrated around 150 TB of data to ExaCC platform which supported enterprise application like EBS and OBIEE.
