GraphQL is a query language for your API. It can be used to get exact needed data from multiple data sources in a single API call. Florida State University is using GraphQL in a Web API to get exact needed data from CANVAS on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. This presentation will use this project as an example to introduce what GraphQL is, how to use GraphQL to get exact needed data from multiple data sources on CANVAS in a single API call, and how to use GraphQL in web API on PeopleSoft Campus Solutions.
